Just wanted to share a book giveaway on Goodreads this week that I think folks will enjoy.
The lead guitarist for the Bret Michaels Band, Pete Evick, has compiled a book of stories from the moments in his life that have made him who he is today. These aren't backstage rock-n-roll trash, these are stories from his childhood, and experiences that have touched him in some way.
He's hoping to wake up the mental archaeologist lying dormant in all of us. I found the stories to be touching, heartbreaking, hopeful and charmingly funny. It's a super quick read that I think will tickle a few memories for anyone who reads it.
