TUESDAY 1/6 — A Series That Was Never Meant to Be One

Did you know that I never planned for The Shell Collector to become a series? It's the book of my heart — born from grief, hope, and healing. Add in a little dash of a true story about a woman finding shells with messages in them on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and this story was born.

I thought it was a stand alone. Then The Shell Collector  became the first FOX Original Movie. Yes, you can still catch it streaming on FOX Nation starring Christopher Russell and Caitlin M. Clark.

And readers kept asking for more Whelks Island… and sometimes, the stories know better than we do. Plus, I wanted to write Tug's story. He made such a huge impression on me in the process of writing the first book, and he deserved a love story!

So, I got down to work.

And now. Book three in this series is slated to release on May 5. Home No Matter Where.
