I stepped away from life to walk on the beach a few days ago. This quote hits. No drinks, but the feel of the breeze, the sounds of the waves, the smell of the salty air, all of that heals the soul or resets the mind. I love the Whelk Island books and this quote is perfect!

It started with a simple hope, to write one story that might help someone through a hard day.

More than forty-five books later, that hope still guides every page I write.

I’m so grateful you’re here.
