Well, if you've been following me for a while you might remember me rupturing my Achilles tendon a couple of years ago. It was a crazy story. I was alone, except for my two dogs, and I'd gone out to feed and water our horses. We'd just had six inches of snow overnight and it was so pretty. The only footprints were from the deer making their daily crossing. Unfortunately, the snow was so deep that it camouflaged a trench beneath it and I stepped right into it. Up to my knee. I hopped over to turn off the water, then tried to limp...there was no limping that day. I got down on all fours and began the crawl to the house. It was a very long crawl. Maybe 300 yards, and it was freezing. My experience that day, alone in the snow just trying to get to help, shows up in Christmas Angels. Now, don't you worry, I didn't let Liz end up with a ruptured Achilles. No. I couldn't do that to her, but it's never good timing to get hurt, and especially not in the middle of a project like the one Matt and Liz are working on. You'll be happy to know that I also gave Liz a wonderful support system. My friends were so helpful. Even in the middle of the snow, Marie and her husband came to my rescue. I'm forever grateful.
